I popped into the New Amsterdam Bike Show here in NYC this month. What a great event! The price of a pre -purchased ticket got me in AND a membership to the advocacy organization – Transportation Alternatives. (Excited to familiarize myself with their work).
Overall the show was great. Small and intense and beautifully coordinated…like so many spaces and events in NYC.
It was fun to see Mia of Momentum and Suzi of Velojoy as well as meet some new folks. Nice work ladies!
On April 2, 2012 I moved my life to New York City. I am thrilled that Chicks On Bikes Radio is nearly a year old and I’m excited to grow this project even further.
This sunday the always lovely Nona Varnado (Performance Fashion and The Bird Wheel) and I are going for a ride. There will be chocolates and some other ladies too! More on that later!
As bike month approaches, spring is here and there is a lot to look forward to. I am excited to get into bike culture here and continue to grow the interview project.
