May was Bike Month and yes I know I am incredibly late on getting this interview directly onto the site (that is what happens when you move your life across the country). At any rate, I had the pleasure of meeting Jim Sayer, Exective Director of Adventure Cycling last year at the California Bike Summit. Jim introduced my to Winona Bateman, the media director for The Adventure Cycling Association. I interviewed Winona in May to discuss their recent fundraising campaign – Build It, Bike It, Be a Part of It. The campaign raised more that $50,000 for the US Bicycle Route System. We were honored to be asked to be a web supporter. A bike goal for me for 2012 is to start touring; I hope to squeeze in a bike overnight somewhere on the East Coast.
